About Me

My name is Nick Marmarou and I started shooting weddings in 2009. Back then the company had an awful name (Home Team Video Production) and thankfully it swtiched to Scarlet Creek Productions in 2015 (much better name)

While I do love wedding videography, my family is the most important part of my life. Back in 2002 I was living in Margate and used to go to a bar called The Wave inside the Trump Marina Casino in Atlantic City. I'd go there with my friends to see our favorite 80's cover band, Eleven Eleven. One day, while dancing to either Jessies Girl or Summer of 69, we crossed paths and the rest is history.

I've been happily married for over 13 and the two of us are completely different. We disagree on little things (like should socks go in a laundry basket or just be thrown on the floor or why do we even bother keeping left overs if they just sit in the back of the fridge for months) but see eye to eye on all the important things like parenting, education and health. We both enjoy a lot of the same TV shows: Game of Thrones, Dexter, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, The Americans and of course, King of Queens. Our taste is movies is vastly different. I like great movies (Pulp Fiction, True Romance, Goodfellas and Star Wars) and she doesn't which I can't understand. I make her coffee every morning and she does my laundry....which usually sits folded for about a week before I put it away. She is the best and I am truly lucky.

We also have three awesome kids, our oldest is ultra competitive and really into musical theater (she has a hydro flask and is a VSCO girl, haha), our middle child is the sweetest girl you'll even meet (but she eats like a Viking) and our youngest is really funny and into baseball and WWE (he constantly tries to give me RKO's). I'm so proud of them.

Aside from spending Sunday in my ultimate man-cave watching the Eagles with friends, most of my free time is spent with my family. We enjoy traveling, hiking, eating and just being together. Cheesesteaks are my favorite food and in case you were wondering, Johns Roast Pork is the best.
